This was forwarded to me: (Needless to say that a muslim woman don´t need lipstick at all. But for those sisters who still need a reason to stop using it)
Something to consider next time you go shopping for lipstick...... This comes from someone who works in the breast cancer unit at Mt.Sinai Hospital, in Toronto. From: Dr. Nahid Neman
If there is a female you care anything about, share this with her. I did!!!!! I am also sharing this with the males on my email list, because they need to tell the females THEY care about as well!
Recently a lipstick brand called "Red Earth" decreased their price from $67 to $9.90. It contained lead. Lead is a chemical which causes cancer. The lipstick brands that contain lead are:
The higher the lead content, the greater the chance of causing cancer. After doing a test on lipsticks, it was found that the Y.S.L. lipstick contained the most amount of lead. Watch out for those lipsticks which are supposed to stay longer. If your lipstick stays longer, it is because of the higher content of lead.
Here is the test you can do yourself: Put some lipstick on your hand. Use a gold ring to scratch on the lipstick. If the lipstick color changes to black, then you know the lipstick contains lead.
Please send this information to all your friends, wives and female family members. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army MedicalCenter Dioxin Carcinogens cause cancer, especially breast cancer."
Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 2:422, Narrated Anas The Prophet (PBUH)said, "When a human being is laid in his grave and his companions return and he even hears their foot steps, two angels come to him and make him sit and ask him: 'What did you use to say about this man, Muhammad?' He will say: 'I testify that he is Allah's slave and His Apostle.' Then it will be said to him, 'Look at your place in the Hell-Fire. Allah has given you a place in Paradise instead of it.' " The Prophet (PBUH) added, "The dead person will see both his places. But a non-believer or a hypocrite will say to the angels, 'I do not know, but I used to say what the people used to say! It will be said to him, 'Neither did you know nor did you take the guidance (by reciting the Quran).' Then he will be hit with an iron hammer between his two ears, and he will cry and that cry will be heard by whatever approaches him except human beings and jinns." Hadith - Sahih Bukhari 3:810 A funeral procession passed in front of the Prophet (PBUH) and the people praised the deceased. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "It has been affirmed (Paradise)." Then another funeral procession passed by and the people talked badly of the deceased. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "It has been affirmed (Hell)." Allah's Apostle (PBUH) was asked, "O Allah's Apostle! You said it has been affirmed for both?" The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The testimony of the people (is accepted), (for) the believers are Allah's witnesses on the earth." Praying for or Attending the Funeral of Fasiqun Noble Qur'an - At-Tauba 9:84, see also Hadith - Bukhari 2:359, 6:194, 7:688 And never (O Muhammad (PBUH) ) pray (funeral prayer) for any of them (hypocrites) who dies, nor stand at his grave. Certainly they disbelieved in Allah and Allah's Messenger, and died while they were Fasiqun (rebellious, -- disobedient to Allah and Allah's Messenger (PBUH)). Burial Preparation Hadith - Bukhari 2:345, Narrated Um 'Atiyya , see also Bukhari 2:350, 352 Allah's Apostle (PBUH) came to us and we were giving a bath to his (dead) daughter and said, "Wash her three, five or more times with water and Sidr and sprinkle camphor on her at the end; and when you finish, notify me." So when we finished, we informed him and he gave us his waist-sheet and told us to shroud her in it. Aiyub said that Hafsa narrated to him a narration similar to that of Muhammad in which it was said that the bath was to be given for an odd number of times, and the numbers 3, 5 or 7 were mentioned. It was also said that they were to start with the right side and with the parts which were washed in ablution, and that Um 'Atiyya also mentioned, "We combed her hair and divided them in three braids." Hadith - Abu Dawud, Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas The Prophet (PBUH) said: Wear your white garments, for they are among your best garments, and shroud your dead in them. Mourning Hadith - Bukhari 2:369, Narrated Muhammad bin Sirin One of the sons of Um 'Atiyya died, and when it was the third day she asked for a yellow perfume and put it over her body, and said, "We were forbidden to mourn for more than three days except for our husbands." Hadith - Bukhari 7:254, Narrated Um 'Atiyya We were forbidden to mourn for more than three days for a dead person, except for a husband, for whom a wife should mourn for four months and ten days (while in the mourning period) we were not allowed to put kohl in our eyes, nor perfume ourselves, nor wear dyed clothes, except a garment of 'Asb (special clothes made in Yemen). But it was permissible for us that when one of us became clean from her menses and took a bath, she could use a piece of a certain kind of incense. And it was forbidden for us to follow funeral processions.
